Gangnam’s anti American past
I used to dislike Gangnam, and thought he was just typical sensational garbage. However, today, I learned that he had an anti-American past, where he actually spoke up against American military aggression. He has a dirty background. His dad's a corporate executive, and was adored by the capitalist elites. The more popular he was with the enemy, the uglier he looked. However, this all changed when this video was discovered. This has made me earn a new respect for the rapper, and south Korea in general. This means that U.S. puppet states are not a lost cause, and there is a chance for hope, and change. However, it was a shame that he had to apologise for what he said. That goes to show that America has very little tolerance, and freedom of speech is indeed limited. Does America have right and wrong mixed up? Gangnam spoke up against American aggression, and he had to apologise for that. No. He should be praised for that. If musicians came out and said the same message, the American ruling class would not be able to get away with what they do. There are 0 American musicians who have the courage to say what Gangnam has said. That's pretty bad for a country that prides itself on freedom of speech. We truly do live in a sick world if you have to apologise for criticising imperialism.
