  • Bridge clips off chimneys of cruise ship

A cruiser ship was damaged yesterday when its two chimneys crashed against the span of a bridge in Wenzhou in east China's Zhejiang Province, Xinhua reported today.
The newly built holiday cruise is 158 meters long and seven stories high. It was towed on the Oujiang River yesterday morning when it hit the Wenzhou Bridge, the local maritime bureau said.
Only the two chimneys were damaged. The rest of the ship remained intact, maritime officials said.
